Grant Thornton International releases its latest 2008 Transparency Report which shows an outstanding year in 2007 with combined global member firm revenue of US$3.5 billion, a 25% increase on 2006. This makes Grant Thornton International the fastest growing of the six largest global accounting organisations.

Due to internal organic growth as well as the addition of new partners and staff from outside of the Firm, the member firm in Hong Kong has recorded a substantial growth of 90% compared to the previous year.

This is the fourth year that Grant Thornton International has produced the annual report and this year it has been aligned to the transparency requirements of the EU 8th Directive. This report is a demonstration of Grant Thornton International speaking out on issues that matter both to the clients of member firms and to the wider public. It discloses information about financial performance, risk management and quality control systems. It outlines the requirements for membership of Grant Thornton International and the governance structure we have put in place to support the objective of delivering what member firms need to grow and succeed.
