Moores Rowland joins Grant Thornton

On 28 June 2007, Grant Thornton officially announced the joining of six partners and 80 employees from Moores Rowland. This is in line with the growth strategy of Grant Thornton International and echoes the merger between the UK member firms of Grant Thornton International and RSM International, which was announced recently.

The Partners from Moores Rowland are Mark Fong, Raphael Ding, Daniel Lin, Michael Sim, Kelvin Kwong and Calvin Chiu and results in Grant Thornton having 21 partners and 500 employees in Hong Kong.

Gabriel Azedo, Hong Kong managing partner and a member of the Grant Thornton Global Leadership Board believes this significant expansion would make Grant Thornton a stronger accounting firm which creates enhanced strength, capacity and market credibility within the profession and in the international marketplaces.
